Auction of Mahatma Gandhi's things

This is what i mean to write: Check this link
Govt 'procured Gandhi items' through Mallya

One of the big news in Indian television currently is, getting the things of Gandhi Ji back to India. Televisions propagating that diplomats are working to get the things back.
Some questions comes in mind are we so helpless that we are not able to stop the auction when the person who is doing auction is follower of Gandhi. Are Indian diplomatic effrots so useless that we not able to pressurize that person/organization. And i think finally they decided to bid in auction. And i hope they are not directly participating on auction but doing it through NRI's like Hotel king Mr Chatwal. I feel this as real failure of Indian goverment if they are not able to stop the auction of those belongings of Bapu.
Our ministers & politians are not free this time to make issue this thing as they are busy for the preparation of election, so Bapu please forgive them. Our so called leaders (N-E-T-A) will make comment tomorrow when the auction will be over. If we get the things in Auction then congress will say that we maintain prestige & dignity of India (I do not know how can they claim this, even if we get the things it is shamefull for us), and if we do not get the things then congress will keep their mouth shut, and some other party will dominate them.
Ultimately the overall outcome which i feel is we are completly fail at dilomatic level. Aur Jai Ho N-E-T-A logo ki.

9 day Navratri fast

9 Day fast:
These 9 days were very crucial for me in terms of food. I decided to have fast of 9 days on navaratri and commited that i will have food only once in a day and will not eat anything in between.
Today is the last day and till now i am commited with myself...but one thing is for sure "Bhookh bahut lagti hai" (I am feeling very hungy) . I think it is only me who can understand that how my smelling has developed these days, now i can smell food which is being cooked at my neighbour
(Yummmmmmmmmy but oh God i can not eat it :( ) .
It is really funny and some times challenging to stop my self. During last 9 days i was looking at Samosa /gol gappe
and 'Muh me pani bhar ke rah jate hai aur lalach bhari najro se dekhte hai ".....
The reason of having fast is only to control my diet and to reduce some fat, and after this i need to start some wrok out(excercise) to reduce fat. This fast will help to me reduce my daily intake. Another thing, having hungry for some time gives a pleasure while having dinner at night... I means "ab mai jab raat me khana khata hoon to mujhe bhookh kya hoti hai iska puri tarah se ehsas hota hai".....

How currency rate is decided

It is one of the important question which usually comes in my mind, how the curreny rate is decided. I will keep on posting the answers of various question which comes in my mind.
With refrence to http://blog.realin.co.in/2008/02/26/how-currency-rate-is-decided-currency-fluctuation/
A market
based exchange rate will change whenever the values of either of the two component currencies change. A currency will tend to become more valuable whenever demand for it is greater than the available supply. It will become less valuable whenever demand is less than available supply (this does not mean people no longer want money, it just means they prefer holding their wealth in some other form, possibly another currency).

Increased demand for a currency is due to either an increased transaction demand for money, or an increased speculative demand for money. The transaction demand for money is highly correlated to the country’s level of business activity, gross domestic product (GDP), and employment levels. The more people there are out of work, the less the public as a whole will spend on goods and services. Central banks typically have little difficulty adjusting the available money supply to accommodate changes in the demand for money due to business transactions.

The speculative demand for money is much harder for a central bank to accommodate but they try to do this by adjusting interest rates. An investor may choose to buy a currency if the return (that is the interest rate) is high enough. The higher a country’s interest rates, the greater the demand for that currency. It has been argued that currency speculation can undermine real economic growth, in particular since large currency speculators may deliberately create downward pressure on a currency in order to force that central bank to sell their currency to keep it stable (once this happens, the speculator can buy the currency back from the bank at a lower price, close out their position, and thereby take a profit).

In choosing what type of asset to hold, people are also concerned that the asset will retain its value in the future. Most people will not be interested in a currency if they think it will devalue. A currency will tend to lose value, relative to other currencies, if the country’s level of inflation is relatively higher, if the country’s level of output is expected to decline, or if a country is troubled by political uncertainty. For example, when Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed his Government on February 24, 2004, the price of the ruble dropped. When China announced plans for its first manned space mission, synthetic futures on Chinese yuan jumped (since China’s currency is officially pegged, synthetic markets have emerged that can behave as if the yuan were floating).
Basis Of currency rate decision:
If a currency is free-floating, its exchange rate is allowed to vary against that of other currencies and is determined by the market forces of supply and demand. Exchange rates for such currencies are likely to change almost constantly as quoted on financial markets, mainly by banks, around the world. A movable or adjustable peg system is a system of fixed exchange rates, but with a provision for the devaluation of a currency. For example, between 1994 and 2005, the Chinese yuan renminbi (CNY, ¥) was pegged to the United States dollar at ¥8.2768 to $1.
