Swayamwar... Kya ye sach me hota tha

इसमे सीता जी ने कहा decide करा कि she is going to select her partner.

The Mummy returns

The Mummy returns

Egypt - A single tooth led archaeologists to identify the long-overlooked mummy of an obese woman as Egypt's most powerful female pharoah — what could be the most significant find since King Tutankhamun's tomb was uncovered in 1922, experts said Wednesday.

The mummy was identified as Queen Hatshepsut, who ruled for 20 years in the 15th century B.C., dressing like a man and wearing a fake beard. A monumental builder, she wielded more power than two other famous ancient Egyptian women, Cleopatra and Nefertiti, who unlike her never took the title of pharaoh.

But when she died, all traces of her mysteriously disappeared, including her mummy.
In 1903, a mummy was found lying on the ground next to the sarcophagus holding the mummy of the queen's wet nurse in a tomb in the Valley of Kings burial ground in Luxor. For decades, that mummy was left unidentified and remained in the tomb because it was thought to be insignificant.

A year ago, Egyptian antiquities chief Zahi Hawass began a search for Hatshepsut's mummy. At the same time, the Discovery Channel, which is to broadcast a documentary on the find in July, gave Egypt $5 million to set up a DNA lab to test mummies. The lab was established in the basement of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

Two months ago, the unidentified mummy was brought from Luxor to the museum for DNA testing. Hawass said his first clue that it could be the lost queen was the position of the left hand on her chest — a traditional sign of royalty in ancient Egypt.
Experts then made a stunning match. A tooth that had been found in a relic box displaying Hatshepsut's insignia and containing embalmed organs fit a gap in the mummy's jaw. Still uncompleted DNA testing also has shown similarities between the mummy and the mummy of Hatshepsut's grandmother, which was identified previously.
"We are 100 percent certain" the mummy belongs to Hatshepsut, Hawass told The Associated Press.
On Wednesday, Hawass unveiled both mummies — Hatshepsut's and that of her wet nurse, which initially was investigated as possibly being the queen.

The strikingly different mummies were displayed inside long glass cases draped with Egyptian flags. Hatshepsut's linen-wrapped mummy was bald and much larger than the slim, child-size mummy of the wet nurse, Sitr-In, which had rust-colored locks of hair.
Hawass said the queen's mummy suggested the woman was obese, probably suffered from diabetes, had liver cancer and died in her 50s.

Hatshepsut is believed to have stolen the throne from her young stepson, Thutmose III, who scratched her name from stone records in revenge after her death.

Her two-decade rule was the longest among ancient Egyptian queens, at a time of the New Kingdom's "golden age." She is said to have amassed enormous wealth, channeling it into building projects, and launched military campaigns as far away as the Euphrates River in present-day Iraq, and Nubia in what is now Sudan.
Ahead of Wednesday's announcement, molecular biologist Scott Woodward, director of the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation in Salt Lake City, Utah, was cautious.
"It's a very difficult process to obtain DNA from a mummy," said Woodward, who has done DNA research on mummies. "To make a claim as to a relationship, you need other individuals from which you have obtained DNA, to make a comparison between the DNA sequences."
Such DNA material would typically come from parents or grandparents. With female mummies, the most common type of DNA to look for is the mitochondrial DNA that reveals maternal lineage, said Woodward.
Egyptian molecular geneticist Yehia Zakaria Gad, who is on Hawass' team, said DNA bone samples were obtained from the mummy's hip bone and femur.
Scientists then extracted mitochondrial DNA and are now comparing them with samples from the mummy of Hatshepsut's grandmother, Ahmose Nefretari, he said. The preliminary results were "very encouraging," Gad said.

Molecular biologist Paul Evans, of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, said the discovery would be remarkable if DNA testing fully proves the mummy is Hatshepsut.
"It's clear that this is on the right track. Once the DNA is done and published, then we will know better," Evans told The Associated Press. "Hatshepsut is an individual who has a unique place in Egypt's history. To have her identified is on the same magnitude as King Tut's discovery."
Hatshepsut's most famous accomplishment is her funerary temple in ancient Thebes, on the west bank of the Nile in today's Luxor. The collonaded sandstone temple was built to serve as tribute to her power. Surrounding it are the Valley of Kings and the Valley of the Queens, the burial places of Egypt's pharaohs and their wives.
She was one of the most prolific builders among the pharaohs, commissioning hundreds of construction projects throughout both Upper and Lower Egypt. Almost every major museum in the world has a collection of Hatshepsut statuary.
British archaeologist Howard Carter had worked on excavating Hatshepsut's tomb before discovering the tomb of the boy-king, Tutankhamun, whose treasure of gold has become a symbol of ancient Egypt's splendor.

new7wonders.com

I am very much surprized by the event organized by new7wonders.com.
What actually the new7wonders.com is, and are they authorized to choose the sever wonders of the world. What is the authenticity of them. Are they are any how affilated by UN. I had gone through site new7wonders.com. I found that it looks like a business to earn money and to promote the site. new7wonders.com is organizing a public function at Lisbon where they will reveal the new 7 wonders.
new7wonders.com looks more like a travel promotion site rather than the actual survey. All the news channel in India are promoting it, but i do not think that is any new channel is looking behind the curtains and find whether the survey conducted by new7wonders.com is really accepted unanimously.
The 7 wonders which was decided earliar was by the fact that when you look at those creations, you just start thinking that Oh my God... What a creation this is!!!.
Now what if somebody else starts the same survey to decide the Millenium Wonders or Universe Wonders.
This all seems like moreover a bussiness rather than a survey.
The information/asset they get from the Voters are:
If person is sending SMS:
The money per SMS
Mobile number of the user.

If person is filling online:
Email ID of the voter
Location of the voter
Contact address of the Voter.

At the curtain raiser event:
They will promote the tourism at Lisbon
Tour and travel expances
Tickets.

This all seems as a big event to fool the public and to use the emotions of public to earn money and it is very funny that the News channels are promoting it rather than getting the real fact.

Please stop this kind of suvey to play with the emotions to just earn money.

This will help you to decide on what is necessary luck or efforts

Imagine that you are driving a car, and there is huge jam on the way.

You want to reach your home as soon as you can. If you have some good experience to drive in the Jam then that will definitely going to help you. You will try to find some short cut or will try to find some gap, and will lead your vehicle on that way. Here your past experience helps you to decide that at which instant you need to go for short cut or when you should lead towards gaps. Now let us assume that you have enough experience to drive in these jams, but…. The big Question…… Person driving just ahead of you is a cool person Mr. Cool, Mr. Cool has no hurry to reach his home, he is driving slowly, and as Mr. Cool is a new driver, many times he stuck with his gear box, he forgot at which gear he was, and as a result his vehicle gets halted many times. You are just behind Mr. Cool and give him horn and screaming Ohhhhhh Man!!!!!! Please give me some passage so that I can go ahead. So here even though you are experienced enough to drive on rash, but you have to stick with Mr. Cool.

Now its time to go to other face of coin, Lets change the character.
Zupppppppp Abra ka dabra…. Ab mudde pe aate hai

You are doing your work well in this tough world, and you are trying to reach your destination as soon as you can, you are doing all efforts as you can. Your experience helps you to do the work smartly and to reach towards your destination. But many times even if you are doing your work properly you are not getting the proper result, here come the Mr. Cool in the picture, Mr. Cool is Your Luck, even if you are doing your work properly, you are experienced enough, working very hard, but still you are not getting the proper result. Why because of LUCK where you have no control, similar to the situation when you were driving well to reach your home but because of Mr. Cool upon which you do not have any control.
Now think what you will do now to reach to your home while driving, you will definitely try to find some way so that you can go ahead without any further Mr. Cool, but you can not force Mr. Cool to get out of your way. You have to work and think hard to overcome Mr. Cool.

It is not necessary that everyday we are finding Mr. Cool, but some times we have to go according to Mr. Cool. Similarly many times we are getting our goals without any obstacles but some time because of luck we are not able to achieve our goals, but this does not mean that we need to should give up our efforts, in fact in those cases we need to do some more extra efforts to get our goals or to go ahead of Mr. Cool.

Next time when you are complaining you luck just think that what you want, whether to go ahead of Mr. Cool or to drive according to Mr. Cool.

Lets getback to childhood

Somedays ago I was a bit free in office so I started the best thing I like to do in the free time… to surf on net… during surfing I found some good stuff I about Harry Porter.. J.K Rowling, Creator of Harry Porter. She has gone through so many publishers to get her character become public. But many of publishers refused to print her book, but finally she has rocked the world and got the publisher. In her name the middle name K is of her grandmother (If I m not forgetting). And she had chosen because she wanted her name to look like male name. She is now coming with her 7th and the last book of Harry… the cool characterJ.
Then I found some interesting stuff about James Bond. I am forgetting the author name and had some wrong information that author of J.B. was in jail while he has created the character. He was actually a journalist and had chosen the name James Bond because he wanted to keep his character name as simple as he can… and the latest bond movie Casino Royale was based on his earlier novel. The next movie which is planned to release in 2008 has name something like Bond 20.. or like James bond in Newyork.
And finally I reached to the character which I like to most… NAGRAJ of Raj Comics. It’s a real dashing and smart character. I use to read his comics since my childhood. Publisher is planning to launch a epic of Nagraj i.e Nagayn… which might have 4-5 sets of comics. And will be in the market by this month end. There are some other characters also like Dhruv, Bankelal(This guy is really funny J) to whom I like to read.
Lets back to Nagraj, his name suggests that he is king of snakes; he has millions of snakes in his body. He has ability to sense the danger, can get message from other snakes, can throw poisonous air, use his snake like parachute, can change him to any shape and lots.
Raj Comics provides some good feature to read the comics i.e. to read the comics online. Or to download E Comics.. really cool way to read comics. You can surf
http://www.rajcomics.com to get really something good if you had ever read Nagraj J.

I think Court has made a right decison, even the OBC are not so much keen for the reservation as Mr. Arjun Singh and the other political parties are intersted. This will really going to make a big chaos, but the decision has came at right time. All the parties need to think for this, that is by giving the reservation India is going to justify with the talent. Goverment has gone with the court with the half baked cake.If politian are really keen to look for the better future for India, they need to come to a proper guidelines that the no deserving non quota student is going to suffer by them. And why there is a need for the reseervation in the higher education esp for the OBC, while in India we have different OBC in different state. There is lot to say on this and lot to debate, but as we all know that our h'nable polititians are more looking for the Vote nd Note rather then the General Public Interest.

Some good books to read

Hey... i adopted a new hobby .. i mean i was willing to do that for a long time, but could not got any motivation. My hobby is to read बुक्स।
For a long time i was thinking to read CHANDRAKANTA SANTATI by Devki Nandan Khatri, i was serching for that novel for a long time, initially i had tried to purchase that novel from some site, but was unable to find it online.
After my seach for 3 weeks i found the publisher name which is Raj Prakashan of Delhi and on last saturday i finally got the novel.
I had already read the CHANDRAKANTA, so i was a bit aware of the characters. Chandrakanta Santati is story about two son of Chandrakant and Virendra Vikram, Indrajeet Singh and Anand Singh and their fellow Aiyaar.
Although i had just completed the first book of six book and started the second book, but the novel has so much suspance and mystry that i want to complete it as soon as i can.
With this i just got a chance to read a book by Gita Piramal "Insight of CEOs"( I might forgetting the name), this is really good book, which have some basic funda like what CEOs thinks and what all the problems CEOs has faced before reaching to the zenith.

I suggest to person who want to adopt the habit of reading that to begin with the book which they want to read and in the language in which they feel comfortable.
Earliar also i had tried to read the books but everytime i begin to read with english books, so many times i might needed dictionary which is a tiering and frustrating work, i mean to look for the meaning during the reading a book. So it is better to begin with the language in which you feel comfortable.

Feel free to make any comments :).

What is going to Indian Politics

Pata Nahi kya ho raha hai aajkal India me esp in the Politics...........
Koi kisi ko blame karta hai koi kisi ko.... and no one is taking the responsibility to correct the things.
Kuch din pahle i mean kal ya day before kal... Rahul Gandhi has made a statement ki "Gandhi family has made Pakistan & they can do whatever they want"..... pata nahi iska thik matlab kya hai but this is as highligheted in the Media.... Kya matlab hai iska... Kya baki logo ka decision koi mayne nahi rakhta.. Ek individual ki soch sab par havi(Dominate) hai... Baki freedom fighter has gone to s****... this all what his statement gives the conclusion...
Ye galat hai... agar politician aise statement denge to kya hoga fir... Kya India kisi ek Insan ya ek family ke decision pe chalti hai.... Nahi... Main aisa nahi manta... Ajjkal Neta log koi statement dete hai fir agle din usko revoke karte rahte hai..... Hum kya kar sakte hai.. I mean a normal Person... Who goes to office & come back in the evening with lots of problems in his mind........
They all Neta kisi ek speak me highlight hone ke liye ya public gather karne ki liye alag alag promotions karte rahte hai.. ki log aaye unki bat sune... what the hell this is.. Hum jin logo ke hath me decision making power dene ja rahe hai.. wahi aisa mante hai to kya hoga... is country ka....
Main is bat ka khul kar support karta hoon ki India should have some strict rules & regulations for all this issues.
Jo bhi Niyam ya Kanoon bante hai wo sare ek Normal person ke liye hote hai... Kisi Neta Ji ke liye nahi... wo ek din kuch bat bolte hai aur doosre din kuch aur......

I request you all to make your comments & suggestion for this blog so that .. hum ek conclusion pe pahuche & apni bat ya concern kuch aur logo tak pahucha sake.
